StyleBoard MDF.RWH
A fibreboard made of fresh forest wood and saw-logs using an adhesive that is resistant to moisture and free of formaldehyde. Due to the uniform structure of pressed wood fibres, it is characterised by identical strength in all directions. A tongue and groove joint with a specially designed profile ensures optimal and rapid water drainage, which prevents the capillary action of water. Due to the use of a polyurethane adhesive, the risk of mould growth in a humid environment is also minimised. The fibreboard is mainly intended for use in roof decking, where it acts as a wind barrier and ensures appropriate ventilation (vapour diffusion) and resistance to moisture, as well as influences positively the microclimate, e.g. in the attic. It can also be used as an underlayment layer or a secondary water-bearing layer, as well as exterior and interior wall covering. According to the LEED classification, the use of StyleBoard MDF.RWH boards can earn points for a building as they are produced without using urea formaldehyde resin and with the use of up to 100% of a recyclable material and FSC-certified wood, with the criterion of the maximum distance (800 km) between the manufacture site and the building site satisfied.
LivingBoard
A board made of spruce wood, characterised by nature by low levels of volatile compound emission and bonded using a formaldehyde-free, PU adhesive. Intended for use in general construction and finishing works and interior outfitting (since its introduction to the market in 1978, it has been used in the construction of 450,000 flats). The board is characterised by good resistance to bending in all directions, good acoustic insulation, and significantly lower thickness swelling under exposure to moisture than a standard OSB board. It is also characterised by low VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions and a slow rate of burning, ensuring greater safety in the case of a fire.
LivingBoard boards are available in various finish classes (including the tongue and groove joint and microparticles for use in building interiors under HPL or under a Face Contiprotect protective surface, providing protection against rain during works carried out in exposed places), which enables adjusting them to particular applications. According to the LEED classification, the use of LivingBoard boards can earn points for a building in which they have been applied as they are produced without using urea formaldehyde resin and with the use of up to 100% of a recyclable material and FSC-certified wood (especially boards with the Deco Board Living coating), with the criterion of the maximum distance (800 km) between the manufacture site and the building site satisfied.
